Is Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal Approved for use in Maine?
The technology is approved for use in small-scale applications under the Maine State Plumbing Code, Subsurface Wastewater Disposal Rules. Larger flow projects can be designed and specified by a Professional Engineer. Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal may be used with either septic tank effluent or more highly treated effluent. Loading rates are allowed per the approval to be 1.33 square feet per linear foot of drip tubing using the soil loading chart in the Subsurface Wastewater Disposal Rules.
